Artist Statement.

I create art to represent the movement created by dancing. My work shows abstract interpretations of the unique motions a dancer executes while performing. I seek to convey the complexity and intensity of these motions. My artwork contains delicate balance between order and chaos. By mapping choreography i am able to investigate and discover unique, interesting lines and dynamic compositions. My drawings are invaded with active repetition, gestural marks and overlapping. My energizing fields of movement are intricate and are able to explain the liberating feeling created by this fascinating form of expression.
